Job Duties:

The Administrative Coordinator works under the administrative direction of the Office Manager and is responsible for academic administrative needs of physicians and APRNs for the section of Hematology Oncology. This position receives/processes or routes patient-related calls and inquiries for patients and coordinates general office procedures. The Administrative Coordinator will assist the Office Manager with special projects and works closely with other support staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of general administrative office support experience or
  • Associates degree plus four (4) years of general administrative office support experience or
  • High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of general administrative office support experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
