What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Coordinate and manage patient operations and scheduling within the Medical Oncology clinic
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of scheduling, ensuring efficient workflows and accurate data management
  • Serve as a liaison for patients regarding appointment scheduling and logistics
  • Obtain and organize medical records and verify insurance coverage
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and administrative staff to maintain high standards of care
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of administrative or program coordination experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating complex appointments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 2-4 years of administrative or program coordination experience
  • Experience using EPIC software for scheduling and patient management
