Department: COM | Emergency Medicine Administration Summary ofJob Duties:
The Executive Assistant provides senior-level administrative support to the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Department Administrator, faculty, and resident physicians. This position coordinates departmental activities, manages calendars, meetings, travel, purchasing, timekeeping, communications, and financial records. The role requires independent judgment, strong organizational skills, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Qualifications:- Education, general:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field, plus two (2) years of administrative support experience OR High School Diploma/GED, plus six (6) years of administrative support experience.
- Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preference given to the applicant with cutting edge skills utilizing organizational software such as Box, Adobe Suite, Red Cap database development and management skills, Workday experience, and professional caliber social media…
