About

the Role

We are hiring a Frontline Sales Manager to lead a team of high‑performing Account Executives in a medium‑ to high‑velocity environment. Your team will collectively close 25–75 deals a month, and you will be responsible for shaping the coaching, structure, and discipline that makes those results predictable.

This role is hands‑on: heavy call coaching, digging into the pipeline, asking smart questions, and jumping into calls to help close. You’ll help AEs level up their skills, manage their business, and build strong forecasting habits. You’ll also onboard new AEs—executing our structured onboarding program to help them ramp quickly and confidently.

What You’ll Do Lead & Grow a High‑Output Team
  • Manage a team of 5–10 Account Executives responsible for 25–75+ deals per month.
  • Build a culture of high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Execute our formal new hire onboarding program, ensuring new AEs are ramping effectively.
Coach Through Calls (Heavy Gong Usage)
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s grounded in deep call review using Gong.
  • Coach on discovery, messaging, qualification, objection handling, urgency creation, and closing.
  • Identify coaching themes across your team and turn them into repeatable improvements.
Drive Pipeline Discipline & Deal Momentum
  • Ensure AEs partner with client success for creation of opportunities and strategic planning of accounts.
  • Ensure AEs manage their pipeline with clarity, follow‑up discipline, and thoughtful next steps.
  • Inspect pipeline quality weekly with each AE: coverage, velocity, risk, and gaps.
  • Join AE calls regularly to help navigate complex conversations and help close deals.
Own Team Forecasting & Predictability
  • Own the monthly and quarterly forecast for your team.
  • Coach AEs on forecast methodology, deal qualification, and accurate self‑reporting.
  • Leverage Salesforce, Gong, and pipeline data to increase accuracy and reduce variability.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure your team uses Salesforce, Gong, and Slack consistently and accurately.
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Rev Ops, Enablement, Client Experience and Marketing to improve process and performance.
  • Track KPIs and use data to diagnose performance gaps, identify strengths, and guide improvement.
Required What You Bring
  • Frontline sales leadership experience with a track record of consistent performance.
  • Experience in a high‑velocity, high‑accountability sales environment.
  • Strong coaching skills, especially call‑based coaching using tools like Gong.
  • Proven ability to manage forecasting, inspect pipelines, and drive predictable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑building abilities.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools.
Preferred
  • Background in SaaS, EdTech, or selling to public‑sector or K‑12 decision makers.
  • Experience helping to onboard and ramp new sales hires.
  • Experience in expanding into a current client base to upsell on secondary products.
Travel Requirements

If remote, plan to travel to the Little Rock office ~2 times per quarter for 3–4 days.

Compensation

Base salary starts at $90,000, plus commission based on performance.
