The Associate Principal of Finance provides guidance and oversight in support of collections strategy and cross-functional partnership. This role helps drive effective resolution of outstanding balances, improve cash flow, and support overall business objectives. The position works closely with leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders to address account issues, identify risks and opportunities, and promote consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across collections and financial processes.

• Manage collections of 200-300 Wholesale Telecommunications accounts
• Research disputes to determine if credits are due within GOA and SOX guidelines
• Provide data related to system integrations
  
  Work closely with management to provide accurate reporting to key leaders
• Monitor and review email communications from internal and external customers
• Provide data related to month end process
• Work collaboratively with operational and taxation teams to ensure customer satisfaction

• College degree and 1-5 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience or 9+ years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
• Preferred Skills and Background Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related degree.
• Deep understanding of financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of accounting procedures and processes. Experience creating SQL queries for data extraction
• Advanced experience data mining across large disparate data sets.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.

The starting compensation range for this job is $50,000 to $64,300. Our compensation approach is designed to be fair and competitive. Pay for this role is based on factors such as your experience, skills, education, and location.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.
