Job Description:
- Seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and promote a strong safety culture across all mechanical construction projects.
- This role is responsible for assisting with the implementation and enforcement of company and regulatory safety programs, conducting jobsite safety inspections, coordinating training, and supporting incident reporting and corrective actions.
- The Safety Coordinator works closely with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies, help identify and mitigate jobsite hazards, and reinforce safe work practices.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and effective at communicating safety expectations in a collaborative, field-focused environment.
- The candidate must be able to travel (by truck) to sites in CT and MA.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years construction safety experience
- Driver’s license
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or Related Field
