Construction Administrator

• Maintain liaison between contractors, project managers and consultants.
• Responsible to the client and Cromwell firm in meeting contractual obligations.
• Responsible for construction terms and agreements with clients and contractors.
• Monitors resources in a way that is compatible with company goals and objectives.
• Works with team members on multiple projects for major clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Some travel is required.
• Experience in cost estimating and construction processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication with leadership team, contractor, and design team in a professional manner.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications, for complex projects, to monitor contractors’ compliance with design intent, construction schedule and applications for payment.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering or a construction related field.
• Registered Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) License a plus.
• Must have a current valid Driver’s License.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Prolonged period sitting or standing at desk while working on a computer or while on job site.
• Exposure to outside elements when on location site.
