Job SummarySupports the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service team in obtaining and processing orders and providing a high level of service to our Alliance customers. Receives and enters orders, provides consistent and timely follow-up on customer inquiries, coordinates and expedites deliveries, processes returns, runs daily reports and resolves customer and order issues.
Responsibilities- Receives and enters orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides price quotes to customers for existing bill of materials.
- Provides consistent and timely follow-up on customer inquiries and order status.
- Secures pricing from vendors, coordinates deliveries, processes returns and expedites deliveries when necessary.
- Utilizes product knowledge to provide service to the customer.
- Loads and maintains customer part numbers in the CMIR.
- Adheres to customer product standards.
- Assists and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Runs daily reports and resolves customer and order issues.
- Assists customers with billing issues.
- Assists with Emergency Response orders.
- Two-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Natural Gas products and systems preferred.
- Technical ability to understand Natural Gas systems.
- 2+ years of prior Natural Gas distribution experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Internet, and Email.
- Working knowledge of SAP software preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills including accuracy, responsiveness and engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and reading skills.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize.
