As a Leasing Assistant
, you will:
- Greet and Assist Residents and Prospects
:
Be the first point of contact for everyone who visits our Leasing Office, providing exceptional customer service and assistance. - Leasing Activities
:
Assist with all aspects of leasing apartments, including prequalifying, demonstrating, and following up with prospects. Use your closing skills to achieve a 50% or greater closing ratio. - Application Processing
:
Manage the application process for new move-ins and re-certifications in compliance with Section 42 Guidelines and Rich Smith policies. - Documentation and Reporting
:
Handle all leasing paperwork, maintain organized files, and accurately input data into our systems in a timely manner. - Team Collaboration
:
Work closely with the Community Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive community atmosphere. - Customer Service Excellence
:
Place a strong emphasis on customer service, responding to residents in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Experience
:
At least 1 year of leasing experience is required. - Communication Skills
:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Customer Service Focus
: A strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service. - Office Skills
:
Proficiency in basic office tasks such as typing, filing, scanning, and answering telephones. - Multitasking
:
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy environment. - Organizational Skills
:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Mobility
:
Ability to walk the property, including multiple flights of stairs, to perform inspections, deliver communications, and show apartments. - Communication
:
Effectively interact with residents, staff, and vendors. - Physical Ability
:
Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs. for tasks such as vacuuming, moving office furniture, and lifting supplies.
