ScheduleInstructor Positions Are Part-time With Classes Held:
- One evening per week (6pm-8pm or 7pm-9pm local time)
- One weekend (Saturday + Sunday) per month from 8am-6pm at our office location
A laptop will be provided to you for work purposes only.
Our focused, 10-week program is designed to provide accessible, hands-on education to students from all walks of life. Classes take place directly within a dentist s office rather than in a traditional classroom — allowing students to learn in the environment they will eventually work in. Instructors will use their experience and training to teach our students the skills they need to succeed as entry-level dental assistants.
Responsibilities- Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum, which may utilize lab stations.
- Demonstrate dental skills/procedures and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab.
- Evaluate individual/group performance and make any necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs.
- Enforce classroom management and ensure adherence to safety precautions.
- Ability to convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations.
- High school diploma or GED
- Radiology Instructor License
- 5+ years of recent dental assistant or chair-side experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Familiarity with Dentrix
- General Dentistry skills and procedures experience
- Basic computer skills such as emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to WiFi, etc.
- A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to commute to location(s)
Job Type: Part-time, In-Person
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Experience- Dental assisting: 5 years (Required)
- BC/BE (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
