Summary of

Job Duties:

* Possess the ability to work well with students

* Tutor in basic skills math up to college algebra.

* Tutor in science courses including biology and physical science.

* Assist in topics using time management, goal setting, learning styles, blackboard, Library resources.

* Assist and conduct class pre- and post- assessments.

* Help maintain cleanliness of the tutor lab to meet CDC Guidelines before and after class.

* Document students individual progress maintain student attendance records.

* Contact supervisor in advance when unable to come in for work.

* Perform other Duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in education, math or related field-Masters preferred

Two or more years teaching on the college level-preferred

Experience developing curriculum-preferred

Demonstrate the ability to use basic computer programs that are applicable in a college setting.

$15-$18 per hour, depending on educational background
