The Adjunct Welding Faculty
Job Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:
Instruct and evaluate Welding Technology courses with an emphasis on hands-on applications.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Ensure program alignment with industry-recognized certifications and local industry needs
* Understand and comply with UA-PTC policies and procedures
* Teach courses in accordance with approved UA-PTC syllabi and academic standards
* Participate in the assessment of student learning
* Foster partnerships with industry to support program success
* Identify equipment and supplies which support the curriculum
* Ensure students adhere to safety and disciplinary regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
* AWS certification
* Three years of industry experience
* Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platform aptitude, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* AAS Welding or Emphasis in Welding
* AWS Certification
* Three to Five years of industry experience
* Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platforms, and excellent digital, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Salary Information:
Adjunct Faculty are typically paid $675 per credit hour.
