Job Objective: Provides administrative and organizational support to the Career and Workforce Development Coordinator and Community Resources Manager in the development and operation of the Summer Youth Employment program. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-25 by June 1, 2026. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
The position offers a leadership development opportunity, with responsibilities including guiding and supporting Summer Youth interns, helping them connect with their peers, and serving as a resource. Mentors also provide administrative assistance, facilitate meetings, assist with summer training, and meet with their intern groups to offer advice and counsel throughout their summer employment.
* Only hours completed at an institution accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education will be accepted. The institution's accreditation must have been in effect during the period in which the hours were earned.
