Adjunct Lecturer Position
The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance at University of Arkansas at Little Rock invites applications for adjunct lecturer positions. The prospective applicants will teach principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, finance, or business statistics courses in day, night, zoom or online asynchronous formats. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
QualificationsRequired Education and/or
Experience:
- Must have a Master's degree (MBA or MA/MS) with substantial economics coursework from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Preferred Education and/or
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience, particularly in online environments, will be preferred.
- A professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA, CFP) will be viewed favorably.
- Teach principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, finance, or business statistics courses. Classes take place in the mornings, at night (1 night per week), and/or online.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Committed to students' success as indicated by prior teaching experience;
- Ability to mentor;
- Committed to remaining current in the area of expertise and instruction;
- Demonstrated communication and teaching abilities.
Salary Information:
Commensurate with education and experience
