Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Or Professor

The Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor faculty position is a 12-month, tenure-track or non-tenure track, full-time faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy. The faculty member serves as a key member of the faculty to advance the teaching, scholarly, and service missions of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

The faculty member will participate in a wide variety of didactic and/or experiential teaching of pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and/or graduate students. The faculty member is expected to disseminate scholarly work through peer-reviewed publications and professional/scientific meeting presentations. Research-focused faculty are expected to develop an independent research program in an area complementary to others in the College. Service contributions to the Department, College, University, and profession are also expected.

Specific expectations for performance in each area of responsibility will be set according to the faculty member's distribution of effort in each area. Academic rank will be commensurate with education and experience.
