Guitar Teacher for Cycles 1 and 2

The uniSon, a music and dance school, is composed of a team of 16 teachers and welcomes 315 students across two teaching sites (La Suze-sur-Sarthe and Etival-lès-Le Mans). It is structured around artistic and cultural education actions (ACE). Interventions in schools, school orchestra, music camp, partnerships with early childhood, child and youth services are the daily routine of the teachers of the establishment.

The uniSon, in addition to a classic curriculum, has also developed a contemporary music curriculum with adapted music training, specific workshops and new disciplines such as computer-assisted music and vocal technique for contemporary music.

Main teaching site:
La Suze-sur-Sarthe, brand new facilities (1 dance studio, 9 music studios, 1 auditorium with 100 seats) with a hybrid character (teaching/artistic and administrative teams coexisting, creating collective dynamics).

Secondary teaching site:
Etival-lès-le Mans.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching guitar to students in cycles 1 and 2
• Conducting projects to promote the discipline
• Being involved in the pedagogical council
• Actively participating in the implementation of the establishment's project
• Possible intervention on both branches of the school

• By way of mutation from a similar position or on the eligibility list or contractually

• Holder of a state diploma, a DEM or equivalent

• Ability to integrate into a team

• Sense of public service

• Experience in group pedagogy is appreciated

• Musical openness to different styles: classical, jazz, contemporary music

• Available 2 days per week minimum

• Holder of a B permit, vehicle

Art. L332-8 provision 5 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position because it is a part-time position with a work time quota less than 50%. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
