Job Description SummaryExalt Academy is seeking an innovative and student-centered Gifted and Talented (GT) Teacher to develop and deliver enrichment opportunities for advanced learners. The GT Teacher will identify and support students with high potential, differentiate instruction to meet their academic and social‑emotional needs, and collaborate with classroom teachers to extend learning beyond the core curriculum. The ideal candidate will be a certified teacher with a preference for a GT endorsement or certification and a passion for supporting exceptional learners.

- Identify, assess, and provide services to GT‑eligible students
- Deliver enrichment and acceleration opportunities through project‑based learning

- Facilitate critical and creative thinking in diverse academic settings
- Communicate regularly with families and staff about student progress

- Coordinate identification procedures and student placements in collaboration with leadership
- Plan and lead small‑group instruction, pull‑out lessons, and/or co‑taught sessions
- Provide professional development and support to staff around GT strategies
- Organize and lead GT enrichment events or competitions
- Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation for the GT program
- Participate in ongoing professional learning and curriculum development
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must hold current Arkansas teacher certification
- Gifted and Talented endorsement or certification strongly preferred
- 1–3 years of classroom teaching experience preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency with instructional technology and digital resources
- Experience using data to monitor progress and personalize learning
- Ability to manage student work portfolios, GT documentation, and reporting
Position Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $50,000 Per Year
