Job Description
Summary:
Exalt Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced First Grade Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven classroom expertise, a deep understanding of content instruction, and a collaborative mindset to support our innovative academic model. The teacher will implement our research-based educational design, delivering instruction with explicit instruction across multiple formats, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels of learning.

Duties:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction with urgency.
- Attend all mandated orientations, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Provide high-quality instruction for the assigned grade level throughout the school year.
- Collaborate with parents through discussions and planning to support student learning and growth.
- Engage in school initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and the school’s mission.
- Carry out teaching and/or managerial responsibilities as assigned by the Leadership Team.
Education Requirements:
- Appropriate Arkansas licensure and certification is preferred, not required.
- 1-3 years classroom teaching experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Teaching certification is preferred, not required.
Technical
Skills:
- Adequate in using technology in education.
- Skilled in analyzing student data to enhance instruction and improve programs.
- Familiarity with instructional technology equipment, software, hardware, and networked systems is preferable.
