Job Description

Summary:

Exalt Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced First Grade Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven classroom expertise, a deep understanding of content instruction, and a collaborative mindset to support our innovative academic model. The teacher will implement our research-based educational design, delivering instruction with explicit instruction across multiple formats, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels of learning.

Duties:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction with urgency.
• Attend all mandated orientations, training sessions, and professional development programs.
• Provide high-quality instruction for the assigned grade level throughout the school year.
• Collaborate with parents through discussions and planning to support student learning and growth.
• Engage in school initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and the school’s mission.
• Carry out teaching and/or managerial responsibilities as assigned by the Leadership Team.

Education Requirements:

• Appropriate Arkansas licensure and certification is preferred, not required.
• 1-3 years classroom teaching experience
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Teaching certification is preferred, not required.

Technical

Skills:

• Adequate in using technology in education.
• Skilled in analyzing student data to enhance instruction and improve programs.
• Familiarity with instructional technology equipment, software, hardware, and networked systems is preferable.
