Campus Ambassador

Position Summary:
Campus Ambassadors are enrolled, undergraduate students who represent Water for Good on their respective college campuses through hosting awareness events, presenting in classes and clubs, and conducting fundraisers. Campus Ambassadors experience the mission and culture of Water for Good through monthly consultations, team prayer time, online resources, and the opportunity to go on a summer Vision Trip to our programs. Campus Ambassador term length is one academic year.
Responsibilities & Duties Overview:
Hosting one fundraising event/semesterHosting two awareness events/semesterPresenting three times/semester in classes, sororities/fraternities/clubs, campus ministries, faculty groups, etc.Advertise events on social media and campus channelsConsult and communicate with Water for Good staff throughout programWork Experience &
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Passion for Water for Good's mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, as well as improved sanitation and hygiene, in places that need it mostCurrently enrolled undergraduate student at college or university in Northwest Arkansas throughout ambassador term2.0 GPAAbility to attend required training at beginning of each semesterReliable and professional communication with organization and supervisorPresentation and public speaking skillsAvailable for expected time commitment: 2-4 hours per weekConnections with student organizations, campus ministries, or major programsPreferred Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience (club officer, ministry leader, resident assistant, student government, etc.)Event-planning experienceSocial media or marketing skillsVolunteer and fundraising experiencePhysical
Qualifications:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
