Summary of

Job Duties

The Adjunct Lecturer/Counselor teaches courses within the Counseling and Counselor Education tracks in the Counseling Program housed in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation (.25 FTE - 1 class per semester). This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications Required

Education and/or Experience
  • Must have a PhD degree in Counseling or a very closely related field, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program OR a PhD degree in Counselor Education or a very closely related field;
    May substitute a Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience for fieldwork teaching.
Preferred Education And/or Experience
  • Graduate online teaching experience;
  • Professional experience in the CRC field;
  • Valid state license in applicable field of Counseling.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Teach courses for the Counseling or Counselor Education tracks of the Counseling program in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation.

  • Virtual instruction.
