We are partnering with a manufacturing company in Little Rock, Arkansas to identify a highly skilled Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer
. This role will serve as a technical expert across injection molding operations, helping drive process standardization, capability improvements, innovation, and best practices across a global production network. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional who enjoys solving complex process challenges, leading continuous improvement efforts, and influencing manufacturing performance across multiple sites.

The Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer will provide expert support to molding operations and help optimize production processes across the organization. This person will play a key role in improving process control, supporting cost reduction initiatives, enhancing product quality, and standardizing molding practices to improve consistency and performance throughout the manufacturing network. The role will also support knowledge sharing and technical alignment across sites to ensure best practices are implemented effectively.

This position will assist with the specification, testing, startup, and ramp up of new injection molding equipment and related technologies. The engineer will also support mold concept design, shrinkage management, mold qualification, and the successful integration of auxiliary equipment into production. In addition, this role will evaluate emerging molding technologies and automation solutions to help improve efficiency, capability, and long term operational performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in injection molding process engineering and a proven ability to troubleshoot issues, improve capabilities, and lead process improvements in a manufacturing environment. This person should be comfortable mentoring engineers, specialists, and maintenance technicians, while also collaborating closely with manufacturing teams to support new molds, equipment launches, and ongoing production excellence.

Strong communication skills are essential, as this role will interact with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be analytical, hands on, and capable of influencing cross functional teams while maintaining a practical, solution oriented approach to engineering challenges.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics or Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in injection molding process engineering is required. Experience working with both semi crystalline and amorphous plastics is essential, along with strong capabilities in troubleshooting, shrinkage management, mold qualification, and auxiliary equipment integration.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, NX, Solid Works, and Moldflow. Candidates should also have experience using standard measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers, along with a strong understanding of tool design, mass production methods, and a variety of injection molding and extrusion equipment. Experience with PVC, CPVC, and polyolefin materials is a plus.

This role is based in both office and factory environments and may involve exposure to machine noise and heat. Candidates must be comfortable working around heavy equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds when needed, and wearing standard personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and work boots. A strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance is required. RELOCATION SUPPORT PROVIDED.
