Senior Water​/Wastewater Project Manager

Role

Arcadis is searching for a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Resilience Water Team in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves managing water and wastewater projects across the full lifecycle, from conceptual planning through construction support, while engaging in business development.

• Manage each phase of assigned projects including contracting, planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, supervising design, reporting progress, procurement of construction services, and administration of construction activities.
• Evaluate plans and technical design for completeness and constructability.
• Support permitting and other professional engineering services during construction, including construction observation, review of shop drawings, responses to RFIs, and permit close-outs.
• Prepare construction packages for engineering, procurement, and construction of water/wastewater/stormwater systems.
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules, completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
• Supervise and mentor junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff.
• Assist in business development, leveraging work experience and client relationships to win new projects.
• Prepare and present project-related information to clients for weekly and monthly progress meetings.
• Travel for project site visits, client meetings, or other project-related activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 12 years of relevant engineering project management experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• At least 6 years of experience in project management involving design and construction engineering for water and wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction inspection and management, asset management, and condition assessment.
• Process mechanical design experience and active participation in regional or national professional associations.
• PMP certification.
