Senior Project Manager (PE), Water/Wastewater, Little Rock, AR
Halff has a position open for a Senior Civil Engineer, with their Arkansas PE License, to join our water/wastewater utilities team as Senior Project Manager in our Little Rock, AR office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 10 years of experience to support Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility design, planning, and modeling. What you will do:- Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of infrastructure projects for the Water/Wastewater practice.
- Requires strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities.
- Support preparation of scopes of work and budgets.
- Conduct studies, prepare reports, and read/develop construction plans and specifications.
- Manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants.
- Coordinate project deliverables, manage project budgets and schedule, and identify resolution of issues.
- Manage quality assurance and control analysis to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations, Halff requirements, and comply with recognized standards and codes of practice.
- Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts.
- Manage design and plan production as well as manage clients and supervise technical staff through workshare opportunities with various practices and offices at Halff.
- Value and be active in professional organizations that benefit the Water/Wastewater Industry.
- Develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners.
- Develop and manage project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EITSs, and technical staff that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas.
- Report on project progress and budgets.
- Work with the Water/Wastewater Team Leader and Operations Managers in business development activities.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree (preferably in civil or environmental engineering).
- 10+ years of experience to support Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility design, planning, and modeling.
- Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Arkansas.
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Water/Wastewater treatment, Water Storage, Conveyance and Master Planning is preferred.
- Must be proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications.
- Previous experience in coordinating project deliverables, managing project budgets and schedule, and identifying resolution of issues.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro and Info Water required (Water CAD or Sewer CAD is a plus but not required).
