The Double Tree by Hilton Little Rock is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to join our leadership team. Position OverviewThe Assistant Chief Engineer supports the Chief Engineer in overseeing the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the hotel's physical plant and engineering systems. This includes ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems while maintaining the highest standards of guest comfort, safety, and property appearance.
Essential Responsibilities- Assist in managing the hotel's physical building structure and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and life safety systems.
- Support the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards and safety requirements.

- Minimum of five years of experience as an Engineering Supervisor, Assistant Chief Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or similar leadership role within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations, life safety systems, building codes, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call situations as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
