McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Tugboat Captain for a project in Barling, AR.

All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen. In accordance with client requirements, security clearance is required and is determined based on background check results.

• Operate and maintain the boat assigned.
• Navigate the boat to and from designated areas.
• Transport crew and materials when necessary.
• Maintain daily logs, ledgers, and record books as required.
• Practice safe work standards.
• Tolerate vibrations, heat, confined spaces, and high noise levels.

• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Employee regularly required to sit, talk, hear, climb, use hands, stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above shoulders. Must regularly lift or move 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Must perform physical activities that use arms and legs extensively, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stopping, and handling materials. Work on feet or standing 8‑10 hours each day, maintain balance while walking on 12‑24" wide steel beams. Perform in all‑weather environments including heat, cold, dusty, and dirty work. Must have balance and understanding of working on water from a boat.
