Structural Project Engineer

Engineering Consultants, Inc – Little Rock, AR and Northwest Arkansas

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete structural engineering plans & specifications, and provide supporting documentation such as design criteria and calculations.
  • Complete structural engineering drawings for commercial projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and RAM software.
  • Work with structural design codes and standards: IBC, ASCE, ACI, & AISC.
  • Review & check work for accuracy.
  • Work independently while communicating and coordinating work with other team & project members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program
  • PE with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
  • Familiar with Local Building Codes, Soil Conditions, Construction Practices, etc.
  • Availability to work overtime to meet project schedules
  • Travel for job site visits and project meetings required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and be able to meet deadlines
  • Work & communicate effectively in a team environment
