Structural Project EngineerEngineering Consultants, Inc – Little Rock, AR and Northwest Arkansas
Responsibilities- Prepare and complete structural engineering plans & specifications, and provide supporting documentation such as design criteria and calculations.
- Complete structural engineering drawings for commercial projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and RAM software.
- Work with structural design codes and standards: IBC, ASCE, ACI, & AISC.
- Review & check work for accuracy.
- Work independently while communicating and coordinating work with other team & project members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program
- PE with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
- Familiar with Local Building Codes, Soil Conditions, Construction Practices, etc.
- Availability to work overtime to meet project schedules
- Travel for job site visits and project meetings required
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to work quickly and accurately and be able to meet deadlines
- Work & communicate effectively in a team environment
