In this classification, the individual is responsible for overseeing engineering teams, coordinating multi-disciplinary projects, and ensuring excellence in both technical execution and operational performance. The managing engineer not only drives the strategic direction of project development but also shapes the culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across engineering functions.

supervise, mentor, and develop engineering teams to build a high-performing and engaged group. Oversee resource management, ensuring that projects are fashioned appropriately to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks. Facilitate regular team meetings and one‑on‑ones, providing constructive feedback and performance assessments. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational strategy. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—such as product management, quality assurance, and operations—to ensure project coherence.

Monitor project milestones, track deliverables, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule. Review and approve technical designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Serve as the principal subject matter expert, guiding the team on complex technical challenges and troubleshooting emerging issues.
