Job Overview
Bridge Project Manager I – Little Rock, AR. Join a team of dedicated professionals delivering complex transportation projects to clients such as ARDOT, TxDOT, DART, and major airports in Dallas/Fort Worth and Little Rock.
Responsibilities- Develop project scope, fee quotation, and assist in technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB’s Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
- Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budget to client satisfaction.
- Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
- Implement the firm’s project delivery plan using HNTB’s Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA). Lead development and execution of the project management plan and supervise/mentor the team.
- Coordinate project staffing, recruitment, development, retention, succession planning, and performance/compensation reviews.
- Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini‑mega projects in accordance with the Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Lead proposal development and presentations.
- Possibly responsible for recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and succession reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
- Experience with ARDOT or TxDOT bridge design/management.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Independent work ethic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies in Arkansas or Texas.
