Electrical Control Engineer

For this Electrical Controls Engineer role, the ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical engineer who combines controls programming expertise with practical manufacturing-floor troubleshooting experience
.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Ideally 3–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, controls engineering, automation, or manufacturing engineering
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas equipment, heavy equipment, or similar production environment
• Strong PLC programming experience, particularly ladder logic
• Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs
• Strong ability to read and create electrical schematics
• Experience specifying and sizing electrical components
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems
• Experience designing or modifying control panels and control systems
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC experience
• VFDs and servo drives
• I/O racks and industrial controls hardware
• HMI programming/integration
• Control panel design and component selection
• Experience working with vendors and developing equipment specifications
• Experience preparing project cost estimates and capital equipment requests
