CADD Technician II

CADD Technician – Transportation
- Little Rock, AR

Halff has an immediate opening for an experienced Computer Aided Design Drafter (CADD) Technician in our Little Rock, AR office to perform drafting, plan preparation and to work with design professionals with our Transportation team.

What you will do:

• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs from written and verbal instructions
• Perform redline corrections and develop detailed design drawings from initial sketches
• Perform quantity calculations for engineering designs
• Actively participate in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve project quality
• Support multiple projects and help ensure timely completion of assignments

What you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Drafting Certificate or Associates Drafting Degree, desired
• 5+ years of working experience in the Civil Engineering industry, Transportation and/or Public Works preferred
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Good working knowledge of standard CADD/Design Software (i.e. Micro Station, InRoads, Geo Pak, Open Roads, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
