Electrical Engineer​/Designer

Batson Inc. is looking for an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer to join our Little Rock team and contribute to practical, high-quality work that makes a real difference.

• Preferred: 3-5 years of electrical engineering or design experience.
• BSEE or similar degree required.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or ability to complete it within 6 months of hire.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations and prepare technical reports and design diagrams.
• Review plans and specifications prepared by other members of the design team.
• Research and interpret applicable building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Design electrical circuits, wiring layouts, and lighting systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Specify, size, and integrate electrical equipment into new or existing systems.
• Develop Instrument Loop Sheet details and automation and control designs, including PLC cabinets and marshalling panels.
• Provide BIM and 3D modeling using Autodesk Revit; CAD drafting support using AutoCAD.
• Conduct occasional visits to construction job sites to support design and construction compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate professionally with peers, management, and clients.
