Customer Service Rep
As a Central Station Alarm Operator, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization and its assets, ensuring the safety of our employees, clients, and visitors. This role is set to work overnight.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor fire and security alarms, promptly identifying and responding to any anomalies
- Provide technical phone support to troubleshoot and address system issues effectively
- Dispatch and track service calls, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining comprehensive records
- Update store databases with accurate and relevant information for seamless operations
- Implement programming changes to store panels, ensuring optimal system functionality
- Compose detailed incident reports and contribute to deterring criminal activity and misconduct
- Maintain and fulfill department security and safety objectives
- Adhere to all Dillard's, Inc. policies and protocols
- Promote best practices in individual and organizational security within the Security Department
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a dispatcher preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, executives, and vendors professionally.
- A strong understanding of MS Office (especially Word and Excel) is essential.
- The ability to learn and adapt to new software programs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively
- Ability to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions to improve processes and drive results
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks and projects
- Familiarity with security best practices, standards, and regulations.
