Sr. Accountant

Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations while working in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.

The salary range will be $75,000 - $85,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits, strong PTO, and profit sharing plan!

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial reports.

- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and classified.

- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.

- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.

- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on month-end close and general ledger management.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliation processes.

- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.

- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
