The Wilson Law Group is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant I to support the daily treasury and cash management operations of our finance department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate escrow and operating account records, processing wires, deposits, and disbursements, and performing daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure the integrity of all cash activity.
This position is well suited for an accounting professional early in their career who has strong attention to detail, enjoys reconciliation work, and values maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process escrow and client cost disbursements
- Post transactions in escrow and accounting systems on the same day they are received
- Process internal and external wires and bank transfers
- Apply deposits and receipts to accounts receivable
- Reconcile escrow and operating accounts daily and monthly
- Research and resolve unapplied cash and reconciliation discrepancies
- Maintain accurate bank balances and transaction records
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and schedules as assigned
- 1–2 years of accounting, treasury, or financial operations experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting procedures
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and reconciliation skills
Sedentary office environment requiring prolonged sitting, typing, and visual focus. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required.
