As a Financial Center Manager (FCM) you will lead a team to meet the financial needs of customers through a consultative approach, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive the bank’s financial growth.
Responsibilities- Manage all goal attainment, service, marketing and operations of the banking center.
- Demonstrate and educate associates on the bank’s full scope of resources, including traditional branch services, digital capabilities, and business partner resources.
- Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss time management, communication skills, goal progress, and operational policies.
- Recruit, train, develop, evaluate and coach staff to ensure expectations for their positions are met.
- Ensure personal, associate, and branch goals are met by providing valued solutions and recommendations uncovered through a needs‑based philosophy.
- Lead a partner‑centric team that works with small business, corporate, institutional partners, mortgage and financial advisors.
- Facilitate consumer loan requests: solicit requests, maintain knowledge of loan policies, assist with loan portfolio, and coach staff to sell and handle consumer loan requests effectively.
- Grow existing and develop new small‑business banking relationships through external client‑facing activity.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by retaining and developing highly engaged associates.
- Ensure all departmental documents and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, including required compliance training.
- Process customer requests and transactions accurately and professionally while engaging in a genuine conversation to identify client needs and recommend solutions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- HS diploma, GED, or higher education with a BS/BA preferred.
- Two to four years of management experience.
- Must be registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or obtain an NMLS license after employment.
- Strong ability to share information consistently and impactfully.
- Excellent management and sales process skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to motivate and present information to individuals and small groups.
- Professionalism and adaptability in a fast‑paced banking environment.
- Computer skills in MS Office and understanding of social media platforms for brand awareness.
- Occasional travel for meetings, training, bank conversion, and acquisition support (minimal overnight or out‑of‑town).
- Physical ability to support and guide associates in other banking institutions within the market.
