Tax Senior Manager

The Tax Senior Manager will oversee the tax planning and compliance functions of the firm, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations while providing strategic insights to clients. This role will lead a team of tax professionals and collaborate with various departments to enhance the firm's service offerings in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for clients in the agriculture industry.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing guidance to clients and team members.
• Mentor and train junior staff members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Proven experience managing a team and leading projects in a tax environment.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and planning strategies, particularly in agriculture.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
