COMPENSATION INFORMATION The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range. We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Settlement Analyst II Salary range: $70,320 – $87,895

Settlement Analyst I Salary range: $57,200 – $70,060

As a Settlements Analyst
, you'll help process and validate market and transmission settlements, analyze financial data, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for our market participants. If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.

What You'll Do

• Support daily market and/or transmission settlement production activities.
• Validate billing data received from source systems before settlement processing.
• Execute settlement runs and posting activities according to established settlement calendars.
• Review and validate daily settlement statements and reports for market participants.
• Maintain compliance with SOC1 control requirements, including documentation of key control activities.
• Track, document, and monitor production activities to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain and update settlement procedures and reference documentation.
• Research and resolve settlement discrepancies, customer questions, and data issues.
• Respond to internal and external requests for information and financial analysis.
• Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop a solid understanding of the SPP Tariff and market protocols to support settlement obligations.
• Assist with testing and implementation of new settlement products, processes, and system enhancements.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve questions and improve settlement processes.
• Support leadership with reporting, financial analysis, and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with SPP policies, procedures, and operational standards.
