Mortgage Post Closer/SHIP II
Provide quality, accurate and timely customer service regarding the review of closing documentation on mortgage loans as required by investors, agencies, and company policy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and proper completion;
- Upload reviewed packages and follow up on outstanding documentation with title companies and investors.
- Prepare Promissory Notes for safekeeping; package closed loan files and prepare for shipping in accordance with investor instructions and procedures.
- Reviewing investor websites to determine if further documentation required or if further follow up required.
- Prepare and submit check requests to accounting.
- Obtain and submit conditions to investors upon request in accordance with investor instructions and procedures.
- Monitor submission of documents to investors; monitor due dates and adhere to deadlines.
- Remit final documents in accordance with instructions and procedures and within the time period required.
- Comply with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
- High school diploma or GED and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Office suite
