Job Duties
Coordinates the planning, requesting, approval, allocation, and utilization of financial resources for the state.
Presents information to the State Leadership Team on linkages between utilization of financial resources and conservation outcomes.
Works with the STC to review and approve state budget requests, and the annual operating budget for the state.
Establishes the annual budget for state office training activities.
Coordinates locally-based administrative services, working in partnership with National Service Delivery Teams, related to procurement and contract administration, and grants and agreements.
Develops and maintains Continuity of Operations and emergency preparedness activities for the state.
Prepares responses to requests for reports and other information and materials from national headquarters, the Department, other parties, and stakeholders.
Reviews and evaluates the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of business operations within the state.
Provides expert advice, guidance, consultation, and support to the STC and the SLT on all aspects of conservation strategy, business operations, and financial and other resource management functions within the state.
Participates in state leadership team meetings and serves as a spokesperson for the state's conservation and office operations, and administrative areas, including priorities, status, accomplishments, and planned activities.
