Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide medication counseling and patient education
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Ensure proper inventory management and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy and company policies
  • Deliver immunizations as required
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Primary Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function as a team member and work well with others
  • Time management and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)
  • Retail pharmacy experience
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Preceptor certification by the State Board of Pharmacy
Qualifications
  • BS in Pharmacy and/or Pharm

    D Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active and in good standing Pharmacist License in the state(s) of practice
  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for 8–12 hours
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Immunization certification from an accredited organization within first 90 days
  • Active CPR certification within first 90 days
