Job SummaryCompass Group is seeking an Oncology Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Memphis. The role involves providing medical nutrition therapy, conducting patient education, and supporting the healthcare team in an oncology setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
- Follow all guidelines as outlined in the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required.
- One (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
