Summary:

The Cash Payment Team Lead must be proficient in the full scope of responsibilities and duties of both the Cash Office and Payment Entry Team. This role ensures the accurate balancing of 835 files to payments, vendor files, payment research, remittance errors, and improving the overall payment posting process to enhance revenue cycle efficiency. The lead provides operational oversight, including hiring, training, conducting audits, and reporting on productivity and key metrics while ensuring regulatory compliance, and also presents themselves as a team player within the department while demonstrating and following Baptist Health beliefs, mission and values.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent

A minimum of 6 months Revenue Cycle experience

Must be accurate and detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership experience

EPIC experience

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
