The Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including PET/CT, and attends to the safety, mental, and physical needs of patients. They ensure the production of high-quality images for interpretation and completes proper documentation.

Other information:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
• Required to have and maintain current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(N) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board in Nuclear Medicine (CNMT).
• Have and maintain current Arkansas Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License
• If performing PET/CT, certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT)(R), Computed Tomography (ARRT)(CT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board in Computed Tomography (CNMT)(CT) is required within 2 years of applying for a temporary PET/CT license with the Arkansas Department of Health.
• If performing PET/CT, technologists must have and maintain an additional license withthe Arkansas Department of Health. This can either be an Arkansas Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License, Arkansas Department of Health PET/CT License or a Temporary Arkansas Department of Health PET/CT License.
• Must have and maintain current CPR (American Heart Association-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).

This job will be authorized 0.80 hours bi-weekly.
