Job Duties:

The Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) internship will assist in preparing social work interns to be knowledgeable of the profession's missions, values, principles, and standards, and will seek the well-being of the client population in a consistently ethical manner.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Must be enrolled in an accredited university working toward a Master's in Social Work.

Preferred Qualifications:

* One (1) or more years experience working in a behavioral health setting.

* Indirect and direct services to patients and their families.

* Indirect services include patient and family phone calls to assist with coordination of care.

* Direct services include but not limited to, diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention.

* All services provided will be done under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Provider.

* Documentation in the clinical record, staff meetings, and other meetings, administrative tasks, training, and other duties assigned
