Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment. The blocks that form our foundational teams — People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more — provide support and guidance at the corporate level. They work across business groups and around the globe, spanning time zones and disciplines to develop inclusive People policies, forecast finances, give legal counsel, safeguard systems, nurture new initiatives, and more.

Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block.

The Role

The Supply Chain Engineering team powers the end-to-end systems that drive Block’s hardware supply chain spanning planning, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, and after‑sales service. We design, build, and manage the technology foundation that enables global hardware operations to scale efficiently and intelligently.

We are looking for an Information Systems Engineer who combines strong technical engineering skills with a deep functional understanding of Oracle SCM Cloud. You will architect, build, and enhance integrations, automations, and extensions across our Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem and connected enterprise platforms. You will collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to translate business needs into scalable, high‑impact system solutions.

This is a hands‑on technical role ideal for someone who can bridge business processes, enterprise applications, and integration architecture.

We want employees to reside where they feel most creative and productive. You will be part of a distributed team and are open to sharing and adjusting to typical working hours.

You Will
  • Design and implement technical solutions within the Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem using FBDI, ADF, REST/SOAP APIs, Groovy Scripts, and PaaS components.
  • Design integrations across enterprise systems, including Oracle Cloud, Mule Soft, Snowflake, Looker, and external partner systems.
  • Write and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and analytics.
  • Build Python-based tools and automations for data validation, API testing, and process optimization.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical designs, including field-level mappings, data contracts, and interface specifications.
  • Collaborate with partner engineering and operations teams to ensure integration robustness, security, and scalability.
  • Create and execute unit, integration, and regression tests for custom components and data flows.
  • Monitor and support launched integrations and customizations, using metrics and logs to continuously improve reliability and performance.
  • Partner with functional SMEs to ensure system designs align with Oracle SCM Cloud processes such as Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Global Order Promising.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and version control using Git Hub and modern Dev Ops practices
You Have
  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP/Fusion Cloud technical development.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SCM modules – Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Order Promising.
  • Deep expertise with Oracle integration frameworks including FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, ADF or PaaS extensions.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience building data pipelines or BI integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Oracle BI Publisher).
  • Practical experience writing Python scripts for automation, testing, and data processing.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to bridge functional and technical stakeholders effectively.
  • A creative, system‑oriented mindset that seeks to automate, simplify, and scale business processes beyond traditional Oracle toolsets
Nice to Have
  • Experience building or maintaining integrations using Oracle…
