The Atlassian Applications Analyst (AAA) partners closely with internal teams to simplify how work gets done. You’ll help optimize work patterns through automated workflows, form creation, reporting, and process improvements using the Atlassian suite of tools—all with the goal of making work more simple, efficient, and productive.

Do you enjoy helping teams untangle messy processes and turning them into something smarter and easier to use? Are you someone who likes talking with stakeholders, understanding how they work, and building solutions that actually improve their day-to-day experience? If so, this role could be a great fit.

As an Atlassian Applications Analyst at Southwest Power Pool (SPP), you’ll work with teams across the organization to understand their needs and help them get more value from tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Sometimes that means designing a better workflow, sometimes it’s creating a clear and usable space for shared knowledge, and other times it’s enabling better visibility through dashboards, reporting, and automation.

This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You don’t need to be a heavy coder—but you should be curious, analytical, and comfortable figuring things out. You’ll spend much of your time collaborating with teams, whiteboarding ideas, and configuring practical solutions that make everyday work smoother.
