Logistics Engineer - Metrics and Data Analyst

Alpha InJenuity seeks cleared applicants with several years of experience with the Navy Logistics systems, metrics & data analysis, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to function as a Logistics Engineer in Bahrain (Sept 2026 start date).

• Recorded background experience with navy warehousing, material management, and supply support policies and procedures. Provides warehouse support with administrative functions, inventories, establishing work methods, and warehouse operations.
• Develop and maintain metrics and analysis database to track and report metrics for CNO availabilities and CMA Vs completions. At times these metrics may require frequent updates to support management decisions and Flag level briefs. The database should have a report generator capability for identified users to print reports without analyst assistance.
• Develop program metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations, utilize a wide range of approaches, principles and practices associated with material support programs.
• Perform duties as assigned including one or more phases of inventory management including shipboard requirements determination, acquisition, local purchase, status tracking, distribution, accountability, financial, issue, retention, and disposal.
• Perform restocking, researching, shipping, and have the knowledge with preparation of shipping documents either online and manually; coordinates and prepare shipping of material to depot level repairable for carcass processing, reporting, and turn-ins.
• Acts as logistics liaison that will interface with the fleet to coordinate and provide service, to include explaining procedures, discussing and resolving problems, obtaining information concerning plans, and deciding how to support operational requirements.
• Identify issues related to material shortages, supply needs, including tracking and expediting parts for all CNSG-C supported units as required.
• Perform any additional supply, administrative, and logistics related functions as required to support CNSG-C and provide onboard ship logistic support to include shipboard inventories.
• Develop, update and maintain CNO Availability and CMA V trend reports. Analyze trend reports and provide recommendations.
• Develop and propose data sources and metrics for determining the root causes of CNO Availability extensions. Develop and maintain database to track and report metrics for CNO Availability extension root cause analysis once identified. As part of the root cause analysis, assist in determining strategies to mitigate CNO Availability extensions.
• Develop and maintain database to track and report metrics for CNO Availability growth and new work root cause analysis once identified.
• Function as the database manager for the metrics and analysis database. Ensure the database can update/interface with the Command Readiness Dashboard.
• Coordinate with modernization managers to track and analyze modernization installation operational impact and return on investment (ROI) for tracked alterations. Maintain this data in the metrics and analysis database.
• Develop graphs, charts and reports summarizing results of assigned analyses.
• Generate PowerPoint presentations outlining results and recommended actions.
• Extract data from various databases to include, but not limited to Logi Quest, One Touch, Haystack, and ships CSMPs to perform exploratory data analysis.
• Use metrics analysis to support optimal levels of forward staged LCS material. Track key material assets and validate that local quantities are supported by historical needs and track inventories, which are not formally held in the supply system.
• Provides logistics support to all home ported and visiting ships in the AOR to include warehouse distribution, receiving and shipping of their materials to CONUS and within area of responsibilities.
