Technical Specialist – Mainframe Expert
We are seeking a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should possess mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional expertise in middleware and MQ is beneficial.
Responsibilities- Provide configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
- Administer CICS, offering problem‑solving and debugging support to application developers.
- Evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend performance and cost‑saving improvements.
- Support DB2 using tools and utilities.
- Oversee system operations within the Z/OS operating system.
- 7+ years of experience with the Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
- 7+ years of experience with configuration management / release management for Endevor.
- 7+ years of experience with SQL programming and DB2 utilities.
- Strong knowledge of CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL.
- Additional expertise in middleware and MQ is beneficial.
- Absences greater than two weeks must be approved by CAI management in advance.
- All work must be completed on site.
- Candidate must attend an in‑person interview.
