Job Summary
This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, ELIXIR, ENDEVO, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.
Responsibilities- Provide configuration and release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
- Administer CICS, providing problem‑solving and debugging support while coordinating with application developers and DIT personnel.
- Evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for improved performance and cost savings.
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
- Thorough knowledge of SQL programming language and techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2.
- Seven years of experience in configuration management and release management for Endevor.
- Seven years of experience in SQL and DB2 support.
- Seven years of experience in CICS administration.
