Data and Reporting Specialist-BHCLR Admin

Working Hours:

7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday-Friday

Summary

The Data and Reporting Specialist supports institutional effectiveness by managing, analyzing, and reporting critical data for internal stakeholders and external agencies. This position plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the institution. The specialist will design, maintain, and optimize SQL-based queries and reports; prepare data submissions; support accreditation and compliance reporting; and provide actionable insights that guide strategic planning, enrollment management, program evaluation, and student success initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, information systems, institutional research, higher education, or a related field.
  • 2. Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, triggers, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • 3. 2+ years of experience in data analysis, institutional research, business intelligence, or a closely related role.
  • 4. Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • 5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
  • 6. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1. Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 2. Experience in higher education institutional research, assessment, or accreditation reporting.
  • 3. Familiarity with student information systems such as Jenzabar.
  • 4. Knowledge of IPEDS, accrediting body standards, survey research methods, and state regulatory reporting.
  • 5. Experience working with relational databases and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Crystal Reports).

This is a full time in office position, not remote.
We are not offering future sponsorship for this position. This job will be authorized
80.00 hours bi-weekly.
